The
world is getting warmer each year. This has been reported by New Scientist online, where it was conjectured that the earth was at its warmest during the last decade (1998 being one of the warmest years). Heat waves kill people and Arctic glaciers are fast disappearing.
Plants emit millions of tons of greenhouse gases each year in the atmosphere.
We all know that the human factor has helped worsen these eventualities. The world has become a
global greenhouse due to our industries that burn coal, natural gas and oil. The release of billions of tons of carbon dioxide in the air triggers the warming effect, along with other elements existent in greenhouses such as CFCs.
The question is, can we reverse the process? We can, if we reach a concensus on the moderation of industrial activities. Can we?
