Who would imagine that we can extract a form of energy from the Earth's core? Discovering heat energy under the Earth is probably one of the most useful discoveries of scientists. It is useful because it offers an
alternative energy source. With the recent depletion of our environment that contributes to the destruction of primary energy sources, energy under the Earth is beneficial and timely. I couldn't imagine Earth's future without these conventional sources of energy. I am sure our society cannot survive because, let's admit it, our society has embraced the technological advances that electricity fuels.
